Welcome to our website
Welcome to the Swordsmen Martial Arts - Haidong Gumdo website. We are wanting to promote Haidong Gumdo--The Korean Sword Martial Art, Swordsmen Martial Arts, the Australian Haidong Gumdo Association, Haidong Gumdo Queensland and the World Haidong Gumdo Federation. We encourage people to learn and participate in this spectacular and dynamic sword martial art suitable for beginners to experienced martial artists looking to improve their sword skills. In addition to teaching Haidong Gumdo--the fastest growing martial art in the world--we also offer classes in Taekwondo, Judo, Karate, Jujitsu and Pilates. Corporate days may be arranged and Bamboo cutting and straw cutting classes/seminars, please ring 3200 0288 for more details.
Facilities
Our main school is pictured here but we have several others in the suburbs of Brisbane. Our newest Swordsmen Martial Arts Centre is at 2-6 Central Court near Grand Plaza in Browns Plains where we are offering Haidong Gumdo, Taekwondo, Karate, Jujitsu, Pilates and Mixed Fighting Arts. Instructors
Master John Tysoe is the Vice President of the Australian Haidong Gumdo Association which is based here in Brisbane. Master Tysoe is ably assisted by his wife, Master Cheri Parks, his son Master David Tysoe, and Senior Instructor Ethan Turton.
