About Us

 Master John Tysoe has been involved in martial arts for over 45 years and has competed at state, national and inter-national levels in several martial arts.  He has trained and coached players at state, national and inter-national level.  Master John holds a level 3 national and level 3 inter-national instructor certificates.  He is one of a very small group of Westerners that hold inter-national referee qualifications in Haidong Gumdo.  Master John has black belts in Haidong Gumdo,Taekwondo, Judo and Karate with an aggregate total of 10 dan grades.  Medals won in inter-national competition by Master John so far have been 2 golds and 1 silver.

Master Cheri Parks has been involved in martial arts for over 25 years.  She has competed successfully in the U.S.A. at state and national levels.  Master Cheri has also competed successfullyat inter-national levels in both Taekwondo and Haidong Gumdo.  She taught both of these disciplines for the past 10 years in the United States. Master Cheri holds level 3 national and inter-national instructor certificates and has a total of 8 Dan grades.  Inter-national competitions have resulted in 4 golds, 3 silvers and 5 bronzes.
